Raquel Bromberg, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Raquel Bromberg is computer scientist and computational biologist. She is a Principal Investigator at Ligo Analytics and an adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with over 20 years of both industrial and academic experience. Her expertise includes biophysics, algorithms, Big Data analysis and software development. She has previously designed and implemented a software package for evolutionary analysis using a novel alignment-free method. She has developed methods for analyzing Big Data in evolution, next generation sequencing and structural biology.
